The most popular method for recertifying is by obtaining 60 hours of Continuing Education (CE) Credits. How Recertification Credit Hours are Determined for VLC courses: The HR Certification Institute awards recertification credit on an hour for hour basis for all educational time recorded. Recertification credit hours for VLC courses are established using average online completion times as determined during course development and beta testing periods. In addition, these times are periodically verified by comparing such times with actual online course durations of subsequent users. Time spent offline reading, researching or completing written assignments is not counted in accordance with HR Certification Institute rules.

Obtaining Certificates of Completion for Recertification: As an Approved Provider of HR Certification Institute recertification credit hours Vertical Learning Curve is responsible to insure that all HRCI requirements are properly met. Once verified, VLC will then issue a certificate of completion. The certificate will contain information the HRCI requires you to input into your online recertification file in order to obtain the approval for recertification credit hours.
